SureCoat Manufactured Home Repair Products

The SureCoat Roof and Wall Systems are single-component, epoxy hybrid, energy-efficient, cool roof and cool wall systems for use on manufactured homes (including mobile homes). Manufactured homes are typically not well insulated. The SureCoat Roof and SureCoat Wall Systems will aid in the radiant heat effect to a manufactured home without the need of drilling or tearing into the walls. Both the SureCoat Roof System (bright white, waterproof coating with 81% solar reflectance) and StrucSureCoat (available in 27 standard colors) have a 93% thermal emittance value, allowing very little heat to penetrate the home to which it is applied.

Sure-A-ThaneCool Roof Rated Product

Sure-A-Thane is a cross-linked, single component, reflective, energy-saving coating that is made specifically for flat and low sloped roofs that pond water. The low perm rating of .019 keeps water on the surface of the roof, and does not allow penetration into roof materials or the roof deck. Waterproofing the roof while emitting 93% of the heat and reflecting 81% of the solar UV rays keeps the interior space cooler. The highly reflective nature of Sure-a-thane makes this seamless, self-adhered, self-flashing coating product perfect for Manufactured Homes. The high viscosity and high solid content make Sure-a-thane a great value for the cost. Every gallon leaves almost 10.5 dry mils per gallon per square. Sure-a-thane stacks so well, it is easy to get 2-3 gallons per square of material on in one pass. Sure-A-Thane is distributed in 5 gallon pails for residential applications.

SureKlean

SureKlean is a fresh smelling, biodegradable cleaner made to clean and etch existing roof materials, especially those with an existing membrane. SureKlean is used prior to the application of Sure-a-thane when installing The SureCoat Roof System. SureKlean is used to remove the UV degradation of factory applied glaze or dirt, and to etch the surface properly to insure excellent adhesion of the SureCoat roof coating. Special equipment is not necessary to use SureKlean or any of SureCoat Systems’ repair products. SureKlean is used to clean metals; including sheet metal, Kynar, aluminum and steel, as well as TPO, PVC, EDPM, Hypalon, and many other rubbers and metals. SureKlean can also be used to remove old mastic repairs from a roof. SureKlean is distributed in 5 gallon pails for residential applications.

Polyester Fabric

RF and HSF Polyester Fabric are the two types of fabric that are to be used with The SureCoat Roof System. The RF polyester fabric is a flexible fabric used for added strength on most reconditions. RF polyester fabric is softer and easier to saturate than HSF poly-weave. The HSF poly-weave is cross-reinforced giving the fabric amazing tensile strength. The HSF fabric is stiffer and harder to saturate than RF fabric. More coating may be needed to saturate the HSF fabric properly. The HSF fabric is for partial systems, repairs, when roof materials are in extremely poor condition or when an extreme amount of movement is expected of the roof, such as vibrations from equipment. The standard RF polyester fabric, comes in width of 4”, 6”, 12”, and 40” and are all 330’ long. The HSF poly-weave fabric is available in 40” wide x 165’ long rolls.

StrucSureCoat

StrucSureCoat is an epoxy hybrid that forms a monolithic, elastomeric, waterproof membrane that expands and contracts with thermal cycles without becoming brittle or tearing. StrucSureCoat emits 93% of the heat back out in to the atmosphere. A cooler wall means lower interior temperatures and lower cooling costs. StrucSureCoat is backed by a written manufacturer’s warranty that states StrucSureCoat will not chip, peel, or flake; and the best part is that cracks up to 1/16” are covered. StrucSureCoat is self-priming and adheres to all types of existing substrates including stucco, wood, masonry, metal, and vinyl. StrucSureCoat is a smooth finish that will take on the appearance of the surface over which it is applied. It is extremely thick, 18-23 DFT, which allows it to move without tearing. The depth of the ridges in wood and texture on other building materials may be slightly less pronounced due to the thickness of this protective membrane.

Residential property installations completed by a certified SureCoat Systems' contractor are issued a limited lifetime warranty stating that cracks up to 1/16" are covered under warranty. StrucSureCoat is available in 27 standard colors and is distributed in 5 gallon pails and 1 gallon pails for residential applications.
