SureCoat Wall Coating Products
Are you frustrated with the way paints and coatings for exterior wall surfaces perform? Most manufacturers offer warranties that cover only manufacturing defects. They are not held accountable for the way their products perform. The few products that do have a “warranty” actually have pages of exclusions that include any and all cracks. Keeping water out of the stucco, wood, concrete, masonry, mortar joints and brick is impossible with cracks.
SureCoat Systems is a different kind of company that offers environmentally friendly protective coating options. Backed by almost 30 years of construction and polymer chemistry experience, only exceptionally superior products are engineered through SureCoat Systems and offered to the building and restoration industry. SureCoat Systems’ products address and correct problems that other coating companies are still working to figure out. StrucSureCoat
StrucSureCoat is an epoxy hybrid that forms a monolithic, elastomericn waterproof membrane that expands and contracts with thermal cycles without becoming brittle or tearing. StrucSureCoat emits 93% of heat back into the atmosphere. A cooler wall means lower interior temperatures and lower cooling costs. StrucSureCoat is backed by a written manufacturer’s warranty that states StrucSureCoat will not chip, peel, or flake. Best of all, cracks up to 1/16” are covered! StrucSureCoat is self-priming and adheres to all types of existing substrates including stucco, wood, masonry, metal, and vinyl. StrucSureCoat has a smooth finish that will take on the appearance of the surface over which it is applied. It is extremely thick, 18-23 DFT, which allows it to move without tearing. The depth of the ridges in wood and texture on other building materials may be slightly less pronounced due to the thickness of this protective membrane.
SureSand
SureSand is the StrucSureCoat product with a sand finish. Until now, only perlite was available to hide imperfections in wavy or scarred walls. This is a nice upgrade to hide imperfections in plaster walls that are smooth or have a fine hand trowel finish.
The sand material is packaged separately so the applicator can determine the desired texture on site. The sand can also be used for patch texturing. Some thin plaster or smooth fine hand trowel finished walls are brittle and damaged from water and thermal cycling.
SureTex
SureTex is the StrucSureCoat product with a perlite finish. Houses that have existing perlite may not need to be coated with more perlite. The perlite is packaged separately and not integrated into the coating. This gives the applicator discretion of the amount of texture needed for each individual project.
It is recommended that these problems be addressed prior to installing the StrucSureCoat products. The coating will adhere to the surface over which it is applied, however if the original coated surface delaminates from the structure, and the coating is stuck to it, that is not a coating failure or lack of adhesion. The warranty covers failures that are directly related to the coating. Please call if you need help determining how to address substrate problems before installing the coating.
A limited lifetime warranty on Residential properties and 10-year renewable warranty for commercial properties are available when The SureCoat Wall System is installed by a certified contractor.

Wood Restorer
SureCoat Systems’ Wood Restorer was designed to safely clean and restore the natural beauty of exterior wood surfaces, decks, and shake roofs. Wood Restorer can be used on cedar, redwood and other types of wood, but will not bring back natural wood color to pressure-treated green lumber. SureCoat Systems wood restorer is a low VOC, water-based, environmentally friendly, biodegradable liquid that easily removes mill glaze, dirt and general weathering; including mill glaze on new decking.
Wall Prep Densifiers - SS-1007-, SS-1007-S & SS-1007-L
Often in order to prevent delaminating from occurring with masonry, block, concrete, and some other raw building materials, treatment to stop any vapor moisture drive is necessary before it can be waterproofed. SureCoat Systems’ SS-1007 densifier is perfect for this application. SS-1007 is a penetrating non membrane forming densifier product that will become an integral component of the material to which it is applied. It will add some structural integrity to the building as it hardens in the internal capillaries of the building’s material. It will never need to be reapplied. This prevents any trapped moisture from gassing and pushing off the coating. This will also protect any reinforcing metal such as rebar from rusting.
This is not for use over an existing coating unless all of the coating is removed first. A moisture meter should always be used prior to installing any SureCoat membranes to insure that the surface is dry and ready to be waterproofed. Only extremely porous and deteriorated materials should use SS-1007L or SS-1007S. Call for more information to determine the correct product for your project.
This is a clear, low viscosity coating that dries clear. It can be rolled or sprayed with a Hudson sprayer. Available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums (upon request and ample lead time).
Clear Waterproof Sealers - SS-5000 & SS-5000-CS
SS-5000 is a penetrating non-membrane forming waterproofing for use over a natural building material such as concrete, brick, block, or other masonry material. It is recommended that SS-1007 densifier is used prior to waterproofing/sealing with SS-5000 to stop any vapor moisture drive. This will prevent any moisture from penetrating the surface and protect the materials from water intrusion, efflorescence, dirt, oil absorption or absorption of other liquids. New concrete should use the cure and seal formula of this product; SS-5000-CS. SS-5000-CS is a super compliant VOC product for use in any AQMD area. This is a milky, low viscosity coating that dries clear. It can be rolled or sprayed with a Hudson sprayer. Available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums (upon request and ample lead time).
Graffiti Stripper
SureCoat Graffiti Stripper is a non-toxic, water-based gel, multi-surface remover. It is easy and safe to use on glass, masonry, metal, plaster, fiberglass, and wood. SureCoat Graffiti Stripper is biodegradable and safe to use indoors. The low VOC makeup of SureCoat Graffiti Stripper allows it to remain on the applied surface longer versus quick evaporation as with other products, giving it time to penetrate the graffiti for an easier clean up. Depending on the nature of the coating to be removed, SureCoat Graffiti Remover will soften or wrinkle graffiti/coatings usually within 20 to 30 minutes. The VOC may not comply with all AQMD limits. Anti Graffiti Coating
SureCoat Anti Graffiti Repellent is a one part, non-toxic, water-based, sacrificial coating designed for easy removal and protection against graffiti on most surfaces. This coating is designed for protecting absorbent mineral substrates such as concrete, masonry, brick, natural and artificial stone and plaster against the costly damage of graffiti. The applied surfaces may take on a slight wax appearance. This protective coating acts as a barrier between the applied surface and graffiti paints, making it simple to remove graffiti without damaging the surface vandalized. The SureCoat Systems Anti Graffiti Coating has good weather resistance, good water repellency and is water vapor permeable. If graffiti is removed from treated surfaces, it may be necessary to reapply the anti graffiti coating for optimum future performance.

Masonry Cleaner
SureCoat’s Heavy Duty Masonry cleaner “Dark” is a waterborne, high performance blend of surfactants used in heavy-duty industrial applications. Dark is able to remove air borne dirt and grease residue on any dark masonry surface quickly by lifting and suspending contaminants for easy rinsing. This cleaner is for use on concrete, pre-cast and cast-in-place, aggregate, brick, mortar, and masonry units. SureCoat Systems’ Dark masonry cleaner is environmentally friendly, non toxic, VOC compliant in all AQMD areas and biodegradable with low odor.
SureCoat’s Heavy Duty Masonry cleaner “Light” has the same properties as SureCoat Systems’ Dark masonry cleaner only it is made for use on light colored surface materials. SureCoat Systems’ Light masonry cleaner is also environmentally friendly, non toxic, VOC compliant in all AQMD areas and biodegradable with low odor.

Efflorescence Remover
SureCoat Systems’ environmentally friendly, biodegradable efflorescence remover successfully eliminates water soluble salts from most masonry surfaces. This product is VOC compliant in all AQMD district areas and is non flammable.
Coverage Area: 50-100 square feet per gallon. This is only an estimate; actual coverage rate will depend on the level of contamination and cycle washings necessary.
Restoration Detergents
From new to historical buildings, SureCoat Systems offers a full range of cleaners for various types of surfaces. SureCoat Systems’ cleaners can remove new construction contaminants such as excess mortar and SureCoat Systems’ low VOC cleaners can remove environmental contaminants from historical building and public areas such as parks.
SS-Blue
SS-Blue can be used on concrete, painted steel, steel, copper, aluminum, galvanized steel, bronze and plastic surfaces.
SS-D
SS-D is a waterborne high performance blend cleaner used in heavy duty industrial applications to remove oil, dirt and grease residue from washable surfaces and is biodegradable and compliant with USA for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
